Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to study the buying behavior of women towards cosmetics. 150 samples were taken from the Thrissur district of Kerala. The research consists of both primary and secondary data. The statistical tools used were one sample t-test, frequency analysis and multiple response analysis. Women consider quality as the most important factor to purchase cosmetics. The findings of the study can be used by the marketers to design marketing strategy for cosmetics products.
