Yoga is always considered as the testimony of bringing peace, happiness and success to an individual and a good citizen to a nation.It is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day.
The D’Cians of Trivandrum got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind and body. The session was handled by Ayurveda Specialist cum yoga practitioner Dr. Divya from NIMS hospital. She taught them the basics of soorya namaskaram, pranayamam and other relaxing exercises which they can inculcate in their daily routine. She also advised the students on the importance of balanced diet and how to lead a healthy life through exercises
