A perspective on the usage of colour in a given environment and its psychological impact on the humans inhabing or using the environment was the major focus of the presentation. The main theme was to understand the importance of using appropriate colours in various environments for the welfare of humans. This is extremely important in public institutions such as hospitals, therauptic centers, schools, colleges, homes for the elderly, offices, studios etc. A discussion followed the presentation regarding the productivity of using appropriate colours in colleges, ethnic and cultural variations as well.
