Prof. Ar. Miki Desai will render the keynote address at 60th NASA convention held DC School of Architecture and Design Vagamon on 2nd February 2018.
Prof. Miki Desai was a Professor of Architecture at the CEPT University,
India. After teaching at the Faculty of Architecture since 1981, Prof.
Miki Desai retired as the Head of the Masters Program in Sustainable
Architecture in 2014. He has taught Design Studios, Basic Design, History of Architecture and Urban Conservation. He is the author of Architecture in Gujarat, Indien: Bauernhof, Stadthaus, Palast (translated to German), an Exhibition Catalogue, The Rietberg Museum, Zurich: 1990. Prof. Miki Desai was a visiting studio critic at ETH, Zurich, MIT and University of California Berkeley, USA in 1988. He has taught short workshops at the Goa College of Architecture, (1998 to 2000) and at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, 2013. He has had an ICSSR Fellowship, the EARTHWATCH grant, a Fulbright Fellowship, the Graham Grant and the Getty Collaborative Grant. He has 5 books, more than 20 papers to his credit.
