Nirmal Abraham was adjudged ‘BEST MANAGER’ at Chrysalis 2017, a two day management meet held at Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai. In an event that included several rounds that tested the contestants’ expertise on all functional areas of business and management through gauging their creativity and proactive thinking capabilities, the contestants had to really sweat it out to gain competitive edge over each other. A total of 6 contestants made it to the finals where they were asked to handle a hypothetical crisis in front of 120 raging protesters, with the panel of judges watching the contestant’s reaction as well as raising questions themselves so as to rate their performance. The audience, who took up the role of the agitators, kept heckling and abusing throughout, not only aiming to distract the finalists but also putting their endurance levels in check. Several top B-Schools in India participated in the event.
